Extra Picture 24 (Otherside of Island)
To the left, above the picture frame is glass faced cabinets (to show off whatever). On the underside of that cabinet are those fluted wine glass holders (they hang upside down). Maybe that is what the glass faced cabinets are for, so you can see that 18th Century vintage wine bottle.
Next to this cabinet on both sides are the floor to ceiling cabinets, these were for pantry items. The cabinets are equipped with sliding shelves: http://www.shelvesthatslide.com/ Great examples shown here. The whole kitchen's lower shelves are equipped with these sliding shelves.
